I was in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico last week for a bit of R&R. Puerto Vallarta is different from other places I’ve been to in Mexico. For one, it seems much more prosperous than anywhere else I’ve been to in Mexico, even Cabo San Lucas. This surprises me, since both Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas are tourist destinations; one expects each to be as prosperous as the other.
